The report, ICT Procurement Trends in Russia: Enterprise ICT investment plans to 2013, presents the findings from a survey of 175 Russian enterprises regarding their approach to ICT procurement. The survey investigates the way that Russian enterprises like to purchase technology, as well as the major IT and business objectives influencing their IT investment strategies. 


Global economic uncertainty, coupled with the ongoing European debt crisis, have had a direct effect on Russian ICT spending. 30% of CIOs and other IT decision makers, are keeping their IT budgets flat in 2012. However, the survey shows that 2013 will bring a significant drop in the proportion of respondents who plan to keep their IT budgets flat, thereby indicating an improving scenario as more enterprises plan increases.
